Norman Lee Wins A $150 Spree At Foodland

On Wednesday, Norman Lee and wife Shari were on their weekly shopping trip in Kapolei, when MidWeek‘s representative spotted the couple leaving Foodland at 1:45 p.m. and approached Norman with a simple question.

He answered correctly and instantly won a $150 Food-land shopping spree.

“We like shopping at Food-land because the price is right and it has a large selection of organic produce,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a sales and ground rep for Vacations Hawaii. “Also, the clerks are very friendly, and the store is very clean and neatly arranged.”

Norman, a 1968 graduate of Waipahu High School, lives in Pearl City and enjoys traveling and collecting coins. He also likes to read MidWeek.

“It has everything – from sports to medical and all the grocery ads,” he said. “Also, photos from different events, classified ads, and I usually look at Bob Jones and Jade Moon.”
