Noodles To Comfort Hungry Mall Shoppers

Piping hot bowls of noodles are comfort food for many, and once June rolls around, Windward Mall shoppers will get a chance to see how Ramen Man-Ichi stacks up to the competition.

Ramen Man-Ichi will be part of the mall’s Paina Food Court, serving shoyu, miso and tonkotsu ramen, as well as its Man-ichi Special, which boasts four flavors in one bowl. Other ramen staples, like gyoza and rice-based dishes, also will be available.

The Manichi Group is famous in Japan for its ramen and gyoza, and the company operates more than 22 stores in Asia. The Kaneohe shop will be Ramen Man-Ichi’s first stand-alone outlet in the United States; it operates only as a vendor inside Shirokiya at Ala Moana Center. For more information, call 235-1143.
