New West Oahu Clinics Open
Accessing health care just got easier for area residents.
Three new clinics recently opened in West Oahu, and one more is on the way within the next few weeks.
Here’s an update:
* Kaiser Permanente’s Pearlridge Clinic opened Oct. 4. Its hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m-noon Saturday.
The 7,000-square-foot clinic was designed to offer services to local residents in a more convenient location. The facility is one of a number of expansions for Kaiser Permanente. A second clinic in Kapolei is slated to Another new clinic is in Kona and the Koolau Clinic in Kaneohe re-opens this week following extensive renovations.

* MinuteClinic recently opened two walk-in facilities in the West Oahu area at local CVS stores – one in Kapolei and one in Aiea.
MinuteClinic, a division of CVS Caremark Corporation, is open seven days a week, and no appointments are required. Staffed with nurse practitioners, MinuteClinic offers family health care that addresses issues such as strep throat; ear, eye, sinus, bladder and bronchial infections; minor wounds, skin conditions, joint sprains, influenza, tetanus, pneumonia and Hepatitis A and B. The clinics also screen and monitor for diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
MinuteClinic accepts most insurance. For uninsured patients, the cost for most treatments begins at $79.
