Nancy Sueyoshi Wins A $150 Spree At Foodland

On Wednesday, Nancy Sueyoshi wanted to buy flowers for her mom, so she went to Foodland at Ala Moana Center. As she made her purchase at 4:20 p.m., Mid-Week‘s representative approached Nancy with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $150 Foodland shopping spree.

“I like shopping at Foodland because the produce is fresh and I like the deli selection,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a retired administrative assistant. “Also, the location is convenient.”

Nancy was born and raised on Hawaii island, and graduated from Kohala High School in 1961. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and shopping, and she’s a big fan of University of Hawaii volleyball. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like everything in Mid-Week,” she said. “I like Ron Nagasawa’s column, and I also read Ron Mizutani and Tannya Joaquin.”
