Mustang Memories On Tap At Reunion Parties

Kalaheo High School alumni who graduated between 1976 and 1980 are invited to celebrate and reconnect with old friends in a series of events — ranging from basketball to banquets — Aug. 22-24. Anyone interested should RSVP by Aug. 7 to shinein79@gmail.com.

* The first party is a “meet and greet” from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Aug. 22 at Kaneohe Yacht Club. Cost is $35 per person.

* An alumni basketball game starts at 10 a.m. Aug. 23 in the school gym. Watching the action is free, but players should email Jade (Lopes) Bowman at bowmanaloha@aol.com for team signups.

* A buffet dinner starts at 5 p.m. Aug. 23 in Ko’olau Grand Ballroom. Planned are a slideshow, games, raffle drawing, picture taking, music, dancing and more. Cost is $75 per person.

* A free family potluck will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 24 at Kailua Beach on the Lanikai side. Alumni are encouraged to bring their families and a favorite dish for a low-key, relaxed gathering. Grills will be available on site, and paper products, condiments, rice and water will be provided.
