Ministry Hosts Free Celebration

The Lighthouse Out-reach Center will sponsor its 12th annual Early Christmas Celebration from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 22 at 94-230 Leokane St. in Waipahu.

The free event features vendors, bouncers, toy giveaways, game booths and music and dance performances by the Lighthouse Youth.

Free plate lunches, beverages and candy also will be available.

An affiliate of River of Life Mission, the Lighthouse Outreach Center Ministries provides homeless families and individuals with a safe place to sleep, as well as a hot meal. The center aims to ultimately help its occupants transition into more permanent housing.
