Mayor’s Town Hall Set May 13

Mayor Kirk Caldwell is coming to a town near you, and he’s all ears.

Caldwell and his cabinet will visit Ewa May 13 and meet with area residents from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Ewa Elementary School. He plans to report on his priorities and outline upcoming road and sewer infrastructure projects, TheBus, park upkeep and events, homelessness and more. Suggestions from the public also are welcome at the forum, which will be broadcast live on ‘Olelo Channel 49.

Another town hall is scheduled for the same time May 28 at Nanaikapono Elementary School in Nanakuli.

Last year the mayor and his entourage held town halls all over the island, including Kapolei and Waianae. For more information, call 768-6928.
