Mayor Hosts Town Hall May 20

Mayor Kirk Caldwell has scheduled a two-hour meeting with area residents next Monday in Kaneohe.

The town hall meeting is one of six across the island in May to update the public on the mayor’s priorities, how they are addressed in the budget, and touch on issues specific to each community.

The Windward Oahu meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. May 20 at Kaneohe Community & Senior Center, located at 45-613 Puohala St.

Caldwell will be joined by cabinet members to provide information and field questions about topics such as fixing roads, restoring bus service, investing in sewer infrastructure, park beautification, building rail better and the issue of homelessness.
