Marine Job Fair Is Open To Public

Marine Corps Community Services plans a career and education fair Friday at Kaneohe Marine base, and the event will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kahuna’s Enlisted Club (military welcome 9 a.m.-1 p.m.)

The employment portion has more than 40 companies and government agencies. Applicants can speak with recruiters and representatives, apply for openings, and should be ready for on-the-spot interviews. Bring copies of resumes and dress appropriately.

Education participants are the base Education Center, National Test Center, Defense Activity for Non-traditional Education Support and 15 on-base colleges.

To access the base, civilians should have a valid driver’s license, current registration and insurance. Children will not be permitted. Call 257-7787 or 257-2158.
