Mall Farmers Market Now On Sundays, Too

Windward Mall has expanded its farmers market by adding a Sunday shopping date. Officials say the popularity of its Wednesday market has grown, and its Nalo Farms partner has seen an increase in both vendors and shoppers.

The weekend market opened Aug. 26 and will operate weekly from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“We’re passionate about serving the community and ensuring the people have the chance to eat local products that are also sustainable,” said Nalo Farms president Dean Okimoto.

Mall marketing manager Alex Kirley added, “We are very excited about giving our shoppers another day to shop at the farmers market. We truly believe in the importance of supporting our community, especially its farmers.”
