Makai Firm’s Thermal Energy Talks At Summit

Makai Ocean Engineering Inc. will present three aspects of ocean thermal energy conversion technology to an international conference Sept. 9-11 in Honolulu.

The Asia Pacific Clean Energy Summit features a symposium of Makai and other OTEC specialists to share their latest technology findings and achievements.

Located on a pier in Waimanalo near Sea Life Park, Makai Engineering staff will discuss heat exchangers, turbine selection and test facility operation, and biochemical simulation of a 100-MW discharge plume.
