Lunalilo Home Golf Benefit Set July 31

Lunalilo Home’s 2015 benefit golf tournament will honor the home’s late trustee Stanley Hong, who was known as an avid golfer and servant of the community. The tourney is set for July 31 at Hawaii Kai Golf Course with check-in at 11 a.m. and shotgun start at 1 p.m. Team sponsorships range from $1,500 to $6,000, and officials say proceeds will support “those kupuna at Lunalilo Home who are indigent, infirmed and unable to care for themselves.” Separate donations of money and event prizes also are welcome from non-golfers. Participants will enjoy great food and prizes, a grand round of golf with friends and a substantial tax deduction.
