Lovey Chock Wins A $250 Spree At Safeway

On a recent Wednesday, Lovey Chock needed some groceries, so she took a trip to Safeway in Kaneohe. As she left the store at 3:30 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Lovey with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Safeway shopping spree.

“I like shopping at Safe-way because it’s very clean, the people are friendly and they have the best selection of vegetables,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, who retired as an educational assistant for the Department of Education. “Also, they have certain things that other stores don’t have.”

Lovey was born and raised in Aina Haina, and is a graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy. She lives in Kaneohe, and enjoys listening to music, dancing and reading. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I read all the articles,” she said. “I also see some of our friends in the pictures from the different events, and I like to read Ron Nagasawa’s column.”
