Lively Program At SJV Show

The students of St. John Vianney School will perform everything from Pachelbel’s Canon in D to the Hawaii Five-0 theme at their free Spring Concert, set for 6:30 p.m. Friday in the parish church.

Ninety-four children from the school’s beginning and concert bands and orchestras will perform, sharing pieces of both classical and popular music, including Allegro, Alpha Squadron, Appala-chian Hymn, Celtic Air and Dance, High Adventure, Midnight Mission, The Tempest and the Star Wars main theme.

The student-musicians will perform as both a large ensemble and as smaller chamber ensembles, as well as selected soloists. Directors are Dana Arbaugh and Katie Sherman.
