Library Has Stars, Money Tips

Fun and knowledge await at Kapolei Public Library this month for all those in the West Oahu area.

Advanced registration for the following events is not required.

* Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. — Astronomers from UH Institute for Astronomy take guests on a journey through the night sky during “Nighttime Stargazing.” All ages are welcome.

* Nov. 15 at 10:30 a.m. — “Feng Shui for Hawaii” features author Clear Englebert, who will discuss common feng shui problems in Hawaii homes, with an emphasis on Oahu. “Feng Shui for Hawaii” also takes place at Aiea Public Library Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. (483-7333) and Ewa Beach Public & School Library Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. (689-1204).

* Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. — Financial educator Karen Ho offers money-saving tips during “Money Matters.” She also will discuss the real cost of using credit, as well as how easily money can be spent without you realizing it. Call Kapolei Public Library at 693-7050 for more information.
