Learn Chinese At Kaimuki Summer Camp

Chinese Language Learning Center in Kaimuki conducts its final one-week Chinese-immersion summer camps Aug. 11-15 and 18-22 at 1342 7th Ave. (The first one ran last month.)

The camps teach Chinese language, speaking and culture lessons, along with excursions, and are designed primarily for native English speakers. Adult programs and private tutoring options also are available at the school, which is located in the Hoo Cho School building in Palolo and run by Ting Shao and Peter Ko.

Fee is $260 for one week, or $490 for two camps. Parents also may enroll children on a day-by-day basis for $60 a day or $35 per half day. Pre and after-school care is available, and lunch can be purchased. For details, call 358-3507.
