LCC Has Free Income Tax Help

Continuing a 30-year tradition, Leeward Community College is offering its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

The program kicked off earlier this month and will continue through March 29. Volunteers are available from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through March 21, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (doors close at noon) Saturdays through March 29.

Individuals or families with a total income under $58,000 also can prepare and file their own taxes for free using the website myfreetaxes.com.
