Kunia Shopping Center Is Calling All Singers

Kunia Shopping Center hosts a “Kunia Live” singing competition from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Bank of Hawaii parking lot area.

The competition is open to singers ages 8 years old and older, and participants will be divided into three age groups: 8 to 12, 13 to 17 and 18 and up.

A panel of judges will evaluate the performances. First-, second- and third-place winners from each age category will be selected. Winners will receive Kunia Shopping Center merchant prizes.

Participants can register online until 5 p.m. Friday. Walk-in registration also will be accepted on the day of the event if there is space available.

Kunia Live will be held on a monthly basis, and new contestants may register each month. The second Kunia Live event will take place April 28 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Kunia Shopping Center is located at 94-673 Kupohi St. in Waipahu.
