Ko Olina Comes Together To Serve Holiday Meals To Community
Ko Olina Charities, a nonprofit created by residents and employees of Ko Olina Resort, hosted its 14th annual Thanksgiving Outreach Nov. 17.
The group gathered at the resort before delivering truckloads of Thanksgiving meals to area churches, including Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Ewa, St. Jude Catholic Church in Kapolei and Pearl City Community Church.
In addition to helping prepare food and deliver food, Ko Olina Charities volunteers also were on hand at each of the delivery sites to distribute meals.
The outreach event serves about 4,000 meals each year.
