KINI ZAMORA DAY AT HCC
Project Runway star Kini Zamora returns from New York to Honolulu, and fans will have a chance to meet him at Honolulu Community College Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon.
The school’s fashion department has declared it Kini Zamora Day, celebrating the HCC graduate’s success on the popular TV reality show Project Runway. Zamora will bring with him some designs that helped him get selected on the show, as well as designs that failed to make the cut. He’ll also talk about his work, his experience on Project Runway and his journey to get there. Fans also will get to take photos with him.
HCC is located at 874 Dillingham Blvd., and the fashion lab is in Building 27, Room 203. Look for the banners and balloons. For more information, call 845-9475.

Priced at $110, the tote bags are available in mustard yellow or light blue cotton twill, emblazoned with “Vivienne Westwood Honolulu” and adorned with a blue hibiscus print. The bags have been produced through the
Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI), in collaboration with the International Trade Centre — a joint body of United Nations and World Trade Organization.
