Kim Kikkawa Wins A $150 Spree At Safeway

On a recent Wednesday, Kim Kikkawa needed some groceries for dinner, so she stopped at Safeway in Waimalu. As she made her purchase at 12:45 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Kim with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $150 Safeway shopping spree.

“I like shopping at Safeway because everyone here is friendly,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a nursing student. “Also, I like their produce, and their butcher is really helpful and always here. It’s convenient, too, because it’s close to home.”

Kim was born and raised in Aiea, and graduated from Aiea High School in 1999. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach. She also likes to read MidWeek. “I like all the sales ads and the stories,” she said. “And I like to read the Poll question and the food articles.”
