Kendama Tourney In Waipahu
Want to show off your kendama skills while benefitting a good cause?
Then come to Tattoo Krew Ink in Waipahu at 9 a.m. Saturday for its Kendama Competition. Some of the proceeds go to the crime prevention initiative, Waipahu Weed & Seed.
Entry fee is $8 per person. Divisions include beginner ladder, intermediate ladder, advanced ladder, girls only and one-on-one. Call 678-3344.
There also will be music, entertainment, prizes and more. Plate lunches and food from Mark’s Specialties including hot dogs, hamburgers and pastele stew will be available for purchase.
Tattoo Krew chose Waipahu Weed & Seed as the beneficiary for this event because it wanted to support its efforts to prevent and control crime, while also offering positive community-building activities.
