Nitoboxing Academy became the first team from Hawai‘i to win top honors in the Team Award category at the 44th PAL National Championship in Oxnard, California. The event was held Sept. 18-22. Coached by Carlos Tangaro, the pugilists won five gold, three silver and two bronze medals.
Kap City Volleyball Club captured first and second places at the recent 2018 Town and Country Classic Tournament, which hosted 14 teams from around O‘ahu. This is the third consecutive year that Kap City has won the tournament.
