Kudos to Manakoa Gymnastics on its first-place finish at Aloha Gymfest 2018. Winners included Mia Manzo (first place all around, second on vault), Lorianna Herrmann (first on bars with the highest score of 9.700), Josie Kurt (fourth all around, second on beam and third on vault), Micayla Herrmann (fifth place all around, second on bars), and Maya Coloma (sixth all around, first on floor). Participating teams came from Hawai‘i, California, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Minnesota, as well as from Australia, Canada and Japan, to compete.

Division champions of the Barbers Point Junior Open, presented by O‘ahu Junior Golf Association and held Dec. 27-28 at Barbers Point Golf Course, gather for a photo.
