Congratulations to the FC Leeward U14 boys and Warriors U14 girls, both of Leeward Region 269, on winning their divisions at the AYSO Kirk Banks Tournament at Waipi‘o Soccer Complex.
It was a good night for Roosevelt’s Rylan Uchiyama, Trent Rivera, Paul Ho and Noah Okami, who represented the school in the 4×400 relay at the OIA JV championship, held April 12 at Radford High School.
The Pearl City AYSO U12 Silver team (coached by Geo˛ Maeda, Liane Miura and Ryan Peralta) beat the other Pearl City Silver team (coached by Steven Daguay) in the championship match at the AYSO Kirk Banks Tournament. Both teams went 4-0 in their respective pools before advancing to the title match.
