Kapolei Breakfast To Benefit Lions’ Work
Kapolei Lions Club is planning a feast for its fifth annual benefit breakfast, set for 7 a.m. to noon Oct. 20 in the Kapolei High School cafeteria.
On the menu are scrambled eggs, Portuguese sausage, blueberry muffins, rice (two scoops) and fruit, plus coffee and juice for dine-in customers. Also planned for the morning program are entertainment, raffles and “all kinds of fun.”
Tickets cost $6 per person, eat-in or takeout, and members will be selling them from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Kunia Walmart store. For more information, call Lion Paul Berardo at 342-2045.
Proceeds from the fundraiser support the club’s many community service projects, high school scholarships, children’s vision and hearing screenings, and eyeglasses collections for third-world countries.Membership is drawn from residents of Makakilo, Ewa Beach and Kapolei.
