Kanikapila Ready To Party On Waialae
Kaimuki Business & Professional Association invites the public to “Celebrate Kaimuki Kanikapila,” its sixth annual craft fair and street festival, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 3 on Waialae between Koko Head and 11th avenues.
The craft fair is timed well for holiday gift-buying, and families and friends of Kaimuki can enjoy delicious food from dozens of featured restaurants and vendors.
Entertainers performing throughout the day are: Kendo Music & Taiko Center of Pacific, 9:30 a.m.; Kailee Chatters, 11 a.m.; Na Hoku Hanohano-award winner TTYM (Talk To You Music) Band, noon; Christian Pinera & Melissa Suan Dance Team, 12:30 p.m.; Rolando Sanchez Latino Band, 1 p.m.; Ryan Nakagawa, 1:20; Patricia Mae Early, 1:50; Triple BG Band, 2; EMKE Band, 2:15; DivOcean, 2:40 and Bryson Omalza Moralez, 2:50 p.m.
CKK is free and open to the public. Funds raised from the event will go support the KBPA Foundation and community events, as well as its college scholarship fund for area high school seniors.
Parking is available at the municipal lot on 12th Avenue (75 cents per hour) and at Queen Liliuokalani School campus (free and limited).
