Kailua High Fine Arts Showcase

Kailua High School’s “Seasonal Celebration of the Arts” will offer entertainment and achievements by students in the World Language Fine Arts Department from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 in the school cafeteria.

The fifth annual program will feature the Hawaiian Ensemble and Glee Club, the school band, video clips from Hawaii, Japan and Spain world languages, a visual art exhibit, plus ethnic and holiday pupus created by the food service students. The public is invited to attend and enjoy the talent display. For more information, call 266-7900.

The creativity doesn’t stop there, according to KHS visual arts teacher Noni Floyd. “Art from the Heart” will be staged from 7 to 11 a.m. Nov. 25 at Morning Brew on Kailua Road; the coffee house also has a display of Floyd’s artwork.
