Kahuku School Drive To Aid Its ‘Historians’
Kahuku Elementary School will have an Aloha ‘Aina community recycling drive from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, accepting a large variety of items.
Residents can bring scrap metal, bicycles, appliances, used cooking oil, computers, printers, scanners, monitors, printer cartridges and toner, cell phones and accessories, all types of batteries, fax machines, cameras, TV sets (one per car), game systems, re-usable clothing and household items.
Proceeds will help send four students to the National History Day competition in Washington, D.C.
