Kahuku Hosting Basketball Clinics

Beginning this Saturday, Kahuku High & Intermediate School will host a weekly basketball skills clinic for ages 8 to 18.

The clinics are being led by Red Raider girls basketball head coach Marlene Zeug with Dennis Agena, former UH and current Kalakaua Clinic basketball coach. All coaches are donating their time.

Fee is $150, which includes eight two-hour sessions Saturdays through July 4, plus a clinic T-shirt.

Participants also may attend individual sessions for $25 each. Proceeds will support the school’s girls basketball program. Register at kahukugirlsbasketball.eventbrite.com.

Beginners will meet from 8 to 10 a.m., intermediate from 10 a.m. to noon, and advanced players from noon to 2 p.m. No clinic is scheduled for May 16. Players are advised to bring their own basketball, towel and drinking water, and wear appropriate clothing.
