Kahala Mall Hosts Healthy Baby Contest

Parents of hale and hearty babies can turn them into award-winning tykes by entering the 2014 Healthy Baby Contest. Registration is open now for preliminary rounds, to be held from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 13 at Windward Mall and Sept. 20 at Kahala Mall.

To participate, babies must be between 12 to 30 months old (born between March 9, 2012, and Sept. 13, 2013). They will be judged on physical appearance, healthiness and personality. The top 50 finalists from the two rounds will reconvene at 10 a.m. Sept. 28 at Kahala Mall to crown a winner.

Register online at hawaiihealthybabycontest.com by Sept. 6. Walk-in registration is accepted the day of the event from 11 a.m. to noon.

Email confirmations with check-in times will be sent to online registrants.
