July 4 Parade Will ‘Let Freedom Ring’

Right now is a good time to sign up for the 2015 Kailua Independence Day Parade, which has the theme “Let Freedom Ring.”

The 69th annual march will run from 10 a.m. to noon July 4 along Kainalu Drive, from Palapu Street to Kailua Intermediate School, and T-shirts already are selling for $10 at Kailua Information Center.

Applications are available at Kailua Chamber of Commerce (kailuachamber.com) and must be submitted by May 31 for the early-bird discount, or by the final deadline of June 25.
