Jonnel Kekauoha Wins A $150 Foodland Spree

On Wednesday, Jonnel Kekauoha wanted to eat poke, so she took a trip to Foodland in Kapolei. As she made her purchase at 11:30 a.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Jonnel with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $150 Foodland shopping spree.

“I like shopping at Foodland because I like their fish. It’s good,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a stay-at-home mom. “Also, I like that Foodland is a local company.”

Jonnel was born and raised in Waimanalo, and graduated from Kailua High School in 2006. She and husband Moses have three children — 3-year-old Kahi, 6-year-old Jazlyn and 8-year-old Bubu. In her free time, Jonnel enjoys fishing, shopping, going to the beach and camping. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like reading stories about people around the Island,” she said. “I also like the calendar for events coming up, and the coupons.”
