Jon Divine Wins A $250 Shopping Spree At City Mill

On a recent Wednesday, Jon Divine needed a new broom handle, so he took a trip to City Mill in Ewa Beach along with his dachshund Hoku. As he made his purchase at 1 p.m., Mid-Week‘s representative approached Jon with a simple question. He answered correctly and instantly won a $250 City Mill shopping spree.

“I like shopping at City Mill because they have things other big hardware stores don’t stock, and prices are competitive,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, chief of telecommunications at Tripler. “Also, they have good service and friendly people.”

Jon was born and raised on Kauai, served in the military for 10 years, and now resides in Ewa with wife Pamela. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and going to the swap meet. He also likes to read MidWeek.

“It has good editorials,” he said. “I like the shopping inserts – we wait for those and reference those. And I enjoy seeing the Poll question and answers.”
