THE U.S. Department of Justice has reached a settlement with PokerStars over charges of bank fraud, wire fraud and money laundering. PokerStars buys Full Tilt Poker and pays the DOJ $547 million to settle with no admission of wrongdoing. U.S. players who are owed money by Full Tilt can apply for a refund with the DOJ Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section. In addition, PokerStars will not be allowed to accept online poker wagers in the U.S.
