Japanese Chamber of Commerce held a fundraiser recently at the Pagoda Floating Restaurant Ballroom. Food historian Arnold Hiura and Chef Jason Takemura of Pagoda Floating Restaurant took guests on a journey through Island cuisine from “then to now,”with classic plantation dishes alongside contemporary reinventions of local favorites at the evening of eats and entertainment.
