Irene Coronel Wins A $150 Shopping Spree At Shirokiya

On Monday, Irene Coronel went to Shirokiya for some snacks and a bento for dinner. After she made her purchase at 3:30 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Irene with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $150 Shirokiya shopping spree.

“I like the variety of food they have here,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a retired teacher. “I come here mostly for the food.”

Irene was raised in Makiki and graduated from Maryknoll School in 1954. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading and going to the movies. She also likes to read Mid-Week.

“I like the articles, and I like to look at the movies page,” she said. “I look through the whole thing. It’s informative.”
