Imi Pono Concert At Puohala

Save the date and stay hungry: The 21st annual Imi Pono Concert & Craft Fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 12 at Puohala Elementary School.

In addition to crafts, culture and exhibits, the crowd will be entertained by Na Keiki o Ke Kula Kaiapuni o Pu’ohala, Na Keiki o Punana Leo o Ko’olaupoko, plus hula halau and guests from Aotearoa and Tahiti.

The food might be more enticing to some, though: Hawaiian plates of kalua pig, chicken long rice, squid luau, lomi salmon, rice, poi, cake, pineapple and haupia cost $10 each and will be on sale from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds go to the school’s Hawaiian Immersion Program.
