Hyatt Christmas Lighting Ceremony
The Hyatt Regency Waikiki held a Christmas lighting ceremony and celebration Nov. 28, with the hotel decorated Hawaiian style. The festivities honored the 30th anniversary of the Make-A-Wish Foundation (with 30 children at the ceremony). Meanwhile, Japengo Restaurant, on the third floor of the Hyatt, put up a tree for the American Heart Association, and a Hawaiian hula tree for the Music for Life Foundation. The Hyatt also created a special dessert, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit the Heart and Music organizations Dec. 1 through February.
