HUOA Senior Fair June 19

Hawaii United Okinawan Association (HUOA) will sponsor a Senior Health & Fitness Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 19 at Hawaii Okinawa Center, offering prizes, workshops, exhibits and presentations to keep island elders safe, fit and healthy.

In addition to activities, HUOA will host the Hawaii Medication Take-Back Program, which will accept residents’ unused or expired drugs for safe, anonymous disposal. (Needles or syringes will not be accepted.)

New products and services will be introduced, and educational workshops are planned throughout the free event.

Booths will have tips on health, safety, finances and cultural activities for seniors, their caregivers and families.

The Okinawa Center is located at 94-587 Ukee St.in Waipio Business Park.
