HPU Gallery Hosting ‘Trifecta’

Three local artists share the spotlight at “Trifecta,” an exhibition open now through Sept. 12 at Hawaii Pacific University’s art gallery at the Hawaii Loa campus.

Tanya D’Avanzo, Alicia Francis Soder and Barbara Ward have been studying at Honolulu Museum of Art School for more than a decade under the guidance of Paul Levitt, who also splits his time teaching at HPU. Each woman will display abstract, portrait and narrative pieces at the free show, which seeks to explore “how common training can be taken in unique and different directions.”
