Packing ‘Food 4 Keiki’ At Ka‘iulani
Hawaii Foodbank’s “Food 4 Keiki Backpack Program” at Ka‘iulani Elementary kicked off the school year July 29 with a $1,000 Walmart grant. Each of the approximately 400 students at Ka‘iulani will receive backpacks fi lled with nutritious and easy-to-prepare foods to bring home Fridays, for weekends when school meals are not available.
