Donation To Improve Lives Of Keiki
Hickam Federal Credit Union recently held a fundraiser to benefit Kapi‘olani Children’s Miracle Network. Funds were garnered through donations made at Hickam FCU branches and via an online fundraiser page, resulting in a contribution of $2,870. In addition, Hickam FCU was chosen as a CO-OP Miracle Match recipient, which bumped the total to $5,740. NAPA Auto Parts Hawai‘i has donated $8,000 to Pali Momi Medical Center’s emergency and trauma programs. Funds were raised through the company’s annual golf tournament. Walk Makes A Difference With Each Step
Representatives from more than 70 nonprofits on O‘ahu gathered at Moani Waikīkī to receive grants from Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association. Funds were generated from HLTA’s 2023 Visitor Industry Charity Walk. Among the organizations to receive larger grants were ALBION Hawai‘i, Aloha Diaper Bank and The Salvation Army, which will apply contributions toward relief efforts on Maui.
