Repairing Homes For Those in Need
AHL staff members and two guests performed critical home repairs for a K°ne‘ohe resident in need for Honolulu Habitat for Humanity. Tasks included removing and replacing rotting roof rafter tails, trenching the perimeter for installation of a silt fence and lots of painting. In addition to repairing homes for people in need, Honolulu Habitat for Humanity plans to construct 40 new homes over the next five years, which means there will be many more opportunities for those interested to get involved.
