Aloha For Diamond Head Theatre

Aloha Petroleum Ltd. pledged $25,000 to Diamond Head Theatre in support of its capital campaign to redevelop the theater. The $20 million Diamond Head Theatre project will involve building a new performance space and renovating the two-story addition behind the existing theater. Hawai‘i’s Top Middle School Mathletes

Bob Isler, Hawaiian Electric vice president-power supply, with the Hawai‘i MATHCOUNTS team: coach Sung Park (Washington Middle), Taylor Ann Agena (Highlands Intermediate), Jared Lo (Punahou), Felicity Zhou and Minjae Seo (Washington Middle), and Barry Nakamoto of Hawai‘i Society of Professional Engineers Educational Foundation, which organizes the middle school math competition sponsored by Hawaiian Electric Cos. These students were the top mathletes at the state competition and represented Hawai‘i at the national MATHCOUNTS in Washington, D.C.
