Electric Co. Shines Light On Nonprofits

Hawaiian Electric donated $75,000 to seven local nonprofits that provide social services to help improve the quality of life for vulnerable community members. Recipients include Feeding Hawai‘i Together, Helping Hands Hawai‘i, Imua Family Services, Ku‘ikahi Mediation Center, The Legal Clinic, Māla‘ai and Project Vision Hawai‘i. Pictured is Feeding Hawai‘i Together’s clients, who are picking up free grocery items in a convenient setting.

Local Marketing Agency Wins Big At Award Show

Honolulu-based communications and marketing agency Olomana Loomis ISC received the 2022 Public Relations Society of America Hawai‘i Chapter’s Koa Anvil Best of Show Award for its statewide integrated communications and community outreach campaign for state Department of Health’s COVID-19 vaccination program. The agency also took home seven additional awards.
