Kaiser Permanente Employee Honored

Kaiser Permanente recognized Tammi Onaha with the national David Lawrence Community Service Award, which honors the outstanding volunteer activities and initiatives by Kaiser Permanente staff to improve community health and wellness. To celebrate her accomplishment, Kaiser Permanente donated $10,000 to a local nonprofit selected by Onaha, a same-day surgery department technician at Moanalua Medical Center. She chose Children’s Alliance of Hawai‘i, where she has volunteered for five years.
