Contribution Aids ‘Ohana In Need
Spectrum has donated $2,500 to The Pantry by Feeding Hawai‘i Together through the company’s national community philanthropic program, Spectrum Employee Community Grants. The Pantry assists the community by creating innovative ways to meet the daily food demand of Hawai‘i’s residents who struggle with food insecurity. This is the third Spectrum grant awarded to The Pantry since 2020, bringing the total contribution to more than $17,000. Hotel Helps Keiki Wishes Come True
‘Alohilani Resort Waikīkī Beach has donated more than $33,000 to Make-A-Wish Hawai‘i. For every kama‘āina stay during the hotel’s LOVE Hawai‘i campaign, $10 was contributed to grant life-changing wishes to local keiki fighting critical illnesses. Campaign Assists Nonprofit’s Cause, Mission
Alex Wereszczynskyj (left holding check), development director of Help, Understanding & Group Support (HUGS), accepts a donation of $8,150 from HomeWorld — a longtime partner of the nonprofit. HomeWorld garnered the funds through its annual Stressless Event campaign, during which customers who donated $50 or more to HUGS received up to $400 o˝ on select Stressless-branded furniture. HUGS has been the beneficiary of its charity campaign for more than five years.
