Douglas Emmett Gives $20K To School

Douglas Emmett donated $20,000 to Red Hill Elementary School as part of the grand opening ceremony for its Moanalua Hillside Apartments project. Charity Walk Raises $2.5 Million

An estimated 7,000 walkers and volunteers participated in the Visitor Industry Charity Walk May 18 at Magic Island, sponsored by Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association. It was the final in a series that began on Lana‘i and Moloka‘i May 4, followed by walks on Hawai‘i Island, Kaua‘i and Maui May 11. The combined events raised $2.5 million statewide that will stay in Hawai‘i to benefit local charities.
