Shintani Wins Union Builder of the Year

Hawai‘i Regional Council of Carpenters named Alan Shintani (center) its 2019 Outstanding Union Builder of the Year. Shintani was selected from among 300 signatory contractors of Hawai‘i Regional Council of Carpenters for his exceptional contributions to Hawai‘i’s construction industry and the community, cooperative approach to labor-management relations and demonstrated strong support for unionized construction. Grant To Help Improve Health In Hawai‘i

Kaiser Permanente awarded an $80,000 community benefit grant to Hawai‘i Public Health Institute to support the development of policies and systems to build healthier communities and improve health and wellness in Hawai‘i.
